The Ho Chi Minh City International Travel Expo (ITE HCMC 2025) returns for its 19th edition after nearly two decades, gathering hundreds of travel agencies, hotels, airlines, and tourist destinations from around the world. This year, the event is jointly organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism and the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, in partnership with technology provider Arobid, to introduce a digital platform supporting virtual booths and seamless business networking before, during, and after the fair. Thanks to this initiative, ITE HCMC 2025 is not only a hub for tourism trade but also a milestone in the sector’s digital transformation, under the theme “Sustainable Tourism – Vibrant Experiences.” The event enables businesses to build virtual booths, expand their global customer reach, streamline business processes, and strengthen competitiveness.
Digital transformation in the tourism industry is becoming a trend
As the global economy accelerates toward digitalization, every sector faces mounting pressure to adapt in order to survive and thrive. The rise of e-commerce, online travel services, artificial intelligence, and big data has fundamentally reshaped how customers search, experience, and make decisions. Businesses are no longer competing solely in local markets but navigating global supply chains, shifting consumer trends, and increasingly demanding service standards.
In this context, a purely physical tourism fair struggles to deliver value beyond national borders. Exhibitors face significant costs for booths, staffing, and logistics, while international partners may find it difficult to follow event developments without attending in person.
To address these challenges, the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, CIS Vietnam, and Le Bros have partnered with Arobid to pioneer a digital transformation for ITE HCMC 2025. By integrating an online platform, the expo extends its global connectivity, optimizes operational costs, and enhances trade efficiency—propelling Vietnam’s tourism industry toward broader international reach.

Online Booths – Expanding Trade Connections
With Tradexpo, Arobid brings to ITE HCMC a fully digital exhibition environment that is both intuitive and user-friendly. Each online booth is designed as a vivid “virtual showroom,” allowing businesses to customize their interface, showcase product collections, attach demo videos, brochures, 360-degree images, and more. Every interaction—live chat, quotation requests, even contract signing—can be carried out directly on the platform without any third-party apps. This shortens negotiation time while creating a seamless link between on-site activities at SECC and online experiences for partners anywhere in the world.
For example, a small travel agency in Huế can present its “Heritage City Tour” package to a tour operator in Germany without hiring extra overseas staff. A resort in Phú Quốc can update room rates and promotional programs in real time for online visitors accessing from the United States. The entire engagement process—from introduction, discussion, to sending cooperation proposals—happens within the digital space, eliminating geographical barriers.
At the event, visitors can scan QR codes to view product details instantly on their mobile devices. Meanwhile, online attendees can easily schedule direct appointments with businesses the moment they are interested, enabling quick and convenient connections. Trade activities continue even after the three-day physical event ends, maximizing value for both sellers and buyers. Customers especially appreciate the flexibility: they no longer need to walk through hundreds of physical booths yet can still search, filter by demand, and save materials directly in their Tradexpo account.

Arobid and the TradeXpo Platform
Arobid is more than a simple online tool—it is an ecosystem proven across numerous national-level events, where thousands of businesses have successfully operated digital booths and maintained engagement with international partners long after the exhibition.
Another standout advantage is customer analytics. TradeXpo goes beyond showing visitor counts, breaking down key data such as the time spent on each product category, the most-viewed videos, and the navigation journey of different market segments. With these insights, businesses gain a solid, data-driven foundation to refine communication strategies, sharpen marketing messages, or refresh product portfolios. Instead of relying on guesswork, every post-event investment decision is now supported by concrete metrics.
More importantly, Arobid’s partnership accelerates digital transformation across the tourism sector, broadening cross-border trade opportunities and bringing ITE HCMC closer to the standards of an international fair where physical and online experiences merge seamlessly. As a result, ITE HCMC 2025 is not merely a three-day event but a long-term platform for businesses to sustain brand presence, build ongoing engagement, and turn opportunities into real contracts months after the fair concludes.

From Digitalization to the Future of Vietnam’s Tourism
ITE HCMC 2025 may conclude after three vibrant days at SECC, but its value extends far beyond the closing ceremony. By combining an online exhibition model with the physical event, businesses can maintain their presence for months, continue reaching new customers, showcase products, receive feedback, and gradually convert interest into real business contracts. Lower costs for booth rental, logistics, and printing—especially for small and medium enterprises—allow resources to be redirected toward creating high-quality images, videos, and digital content that nurture the brand long-term.
Supporting this transformation, Arobid introduces the TradeXpo platform as a “digital bridge” enabling exhibitions to operate efficiently with strategic depth. Data on visits, product views, and engagement levels provide the basis for businesses to read market demand, refine approaches, and optimize portfolios. Instead of relying on assumptions, marketing decisions now stem from concrete analysis, reducing risk and increasing the chance of closing deals.
These results show that the hybrid physical–digital model at ITE HCMC 2025 sets a new benchmark for Vietnam’s tourism fairs. The blending of on-site experience and digital platforms not only broadens market reach but also sustains long-term engagement, positioning Vietnam as a pioneer in technology adoption. With a solid foundation and an innovative business mindset, the tourism industry is moving confidently toward a modern, sustainable, and globally integrated future.
